The Move Good Movement

We aim to empower, inform, and inspire through a wellness movement that asks for the very best from health and fitness content.

What is The Move Good Movement?

To put it simply, The Move Good Movement is about good movement for anyone, whether you’ve never stepped foot in a gym or have a lengthy resume of professional sports. That means quality form in exercises, intentional workouts, balanced nutrition, and sustainable strategies, but The Move Good Movement also aims to go beyond that.

At its core, The Move Good Movement is meant to help its audiences (you, hopefully!) not just to move well but to also feel good. We’re not about body shaming, baseless trends, or any other junk that tells you there’s only one right way to eat or workout.

Instead, we want to provide you with research-backed and critically-engaged health and fitness content and training. The goal isn’t to tell you what to do, but rather to inform and inspire you to make empowered choices about what’s right for you and will help you feel your best.

Our Values

Critical thinking

We don’t take things at face value — instead, we question, analyze, and evaluate the content we consume and produce, and we ask our audiences to do the same and hold us accountable.

Credible & accountable

We prioritize tested, validated, and peer-reviewed data to deliver credible and modern information.

Courage & resilience

We know that achieving your goals involves overcoming obstacles and persevering through self-doubt, which takes bravery and determination. We’re right there with you, sharing the journey.

Inclusion & accessibility

Regardless of backgrounds, abilities, or circumstances, we strive to create welcoming and equitable spaces for health and fitness.

Our Vision

Our philosophies and values for health and fitness carry into our vision for The Move Good Movement. Operating with integrity and a critical perspective, we strive to transform The Move Good Movement into an actual movement — that is, we want to have a meaningful influence on the way we consume, practice, and understand wellness content as a community.

We expect this to be challenging, and truthfully, we hope it is. If our health and fitness experiences have taught us anything, it’s that the best experiences are those that test our courage, resilience, and adaptability, ultimately driving personal growth. All that’s to say is that we’re right there with you, continually challenging ourselves in the pursuit of a better self.
